Angela Raven

I am a 20-year SPPS veteran with several years of experience teaching English online to students in China. I've been an NHS and Student Council advisor for many years. I love helping students develop service projects in the community. I've been on the design committee helping launch SPPS Online. Online learning is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn at their own pace, have more flexibility in their schedule, and have more 1 to 1 time with their teachers. For these reasons and more, I am excited to be a teacher on this platform for SPPS students.

Electives I Teach

Reading for Personal Development

One of my favorite courses to teach with SPPS Online is Reading for Personal Development. In this class, students get to choose the books they read and develop their own blog page.

Public Speaking

Public Speaking is offered in the second semester. In this course, students get to develop their speaking, writing, and editing skills while developing their own podcast series.
