Ms. Amanda Olsen

My name is Amanda Olsen. My family and I are new to Saint Paul but have quickly fallen in love with the city and school community. I have been working in education for 14 years. During that time, I have  taught all levels of Language Arts and History, grades 5-12. I grew up, and began my teaching career, in New Mexico before moving overseas. My teaching career has taken me to Ghana, Colombia, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. I am excited to work with SPPS online because I went to school through an alternative education program. I homeschooled from 3rd grade until I graduated from High School. I firmly believe that non-traditional programs offer students amazing opportunities and I am excited to be part of this new adventure.
